    演讲人简介：Prof. LUCIA SAKES received her PhD in Critical Studies from the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA in 2001. She has been teaching at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor since 2002 as one of the pioneering scholars in the area studies of South Africa and America, with a critical focus on Globalization and history, media and memory, identity and the making of public spheres.
